Job Overview
We are in search of an enthusiastic and results-driven professional to fill the role of Manager for the Ride to Defeat ALS. This fully remote position is pivotal in steering the success of our fundraising initiatives by enhancing participant engagement, optimizing revenue generation, and ensuring an outstanding experience for both participants and volunteers. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in event management, fundraising strategies, and volunteer coordination, with a strong emphasis on fostering meaningful relationships within the ALS community. This role includes oversight of events in Massachusetts, Florida, and Virginia, guiding all phases of the event lifecycle from inception to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive national fundraising strategy aiming for a revenue target of $500K across our major events in Massachusetts, Florida, and Virginia.
- Engage, recruit, and retain individual riders and teams, nurturing a sense of community and dedication.
- Manage all logistical components of the rides, working closely with the Event Experience team to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with local development teams to recruit and coordinate volunteers, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.
- Oversee event budgets, tracking expenses meticulously to ensure financial viability while maximizing net revenue.
- Establish and maintain relationships with sponsors, garnering both in-kind and financial contributions to enhance event quality and reach.
- Utilize peer-to-peer fundraising platforms and CRM systems to elevate engagement, manage participant information, and boost revenue generation.

- Willingness to travel up to 40% for event-related duties.

Compensation And Benefits
- Salary Range: \(49,440 - \)59,196 annually, contingent upon location and experience.
- Compensation may vary based on job complexity, relevant experience, and location factors. Offers are made within the applicable compensation bracket at the time of hiring.
